One of the biggest concerns for wearers of safety eyewear is the issue of fogging lenses, especially in dangerous and high-risk situations. For those who work with tools, machinery and hazardous chemicals, poor visibility or impaired sight could have catastrophic implications. Supertouch® has partnered with Pyramex® to stock and distribute Pyramex® Safety Eyewear across our network of UK distributors, including the innovative H2X and H2MAX choices. Pyramex® safety glasses have three different anti-fog coatings available on selective eyewear:
Standard Anti-Fog
H2X Anti-Fog
H2MAX Anti-Fog
H2X and H2MAX were developed as a premium anti-fog offering. Following extensive customer research, Pyramex® discovered that clear, fog-free vision is vital in the workplace.
H2X Anti-Fog Coating:
H2X provides anti-fog, anti-scratch and anti-static protection. Even after repeated cleanings, H2X will continue to be effective because the coating is bonded to the lenses. The H2X anti-fog coating is made from non-hazardous environmental components. Additionally, H2X coating is waterproof and scratch resistant.
H2MAX Anti-Fog Coating:
The innovative technology behind the H2MAX created a high performing, superior anti-fog coating that is durable enough to withstand repeated cleaning without losing adhesion. Not only does this premium treatment ensure maximum clarity in the most extreme temperature and humidity conditions, but it also adds a layer to the lens that is abrasion and chemical resistant. The H2MAX anti-fog coating is made from non-hazardous environmental components. The coating also resists scratching from steel wool up to 100g weight and passes EN standards for K & N.
